EPMA is seeking a talented Artificial Intelligence Specialist to shape the future of AI in the oil and gas sector. This vital role is based in Houston Downtown and is intended as a long-term contract position requiring onsite presence.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As an AI Specialist, you will:

• Define and implement AI strategies, architectures, and roadmaps
• Lead ML/AI/Generative AI projects, collaborating with business and IT teams
• Create and maintain AI technology roadmaps and implementation plans
• Provide solution support and participate in incident resolution
• Design and support AI architectures
• Engage in project delivery tasks including device configuration and vendor coordination
• Document technical architectures and decisions
• Promote AI best practices and participate in knowledge sharing
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members

Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise solutions
• 2-3 years of experience in deploying AI-enabled solutions using Machine Learning, General AI, or Generative AI
• 5-7 years proficiency in programming with C# and Python
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure technologies and Power Platform tools
• Familiarity with LLMs such as GPT 3.5, GPT 4
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, leadership, and a strong ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proven analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
