The Position

As the Project Manager & Data Analytics Specialist, you will join the Data Analytics & Commercial Finance Excellence Team, which is part of the Financial & Business Organization (FIBO).

About the Team

The Data Analytics & Commercial Finance Excellence Team is a multidisciplinary group responsible for:

• Project Management: Deploying complex, cross-functional projects within and outside Finance and Business Operation.
• Data Analytics: Supporting initiatives to enhance and utilize internal and external data, generating actionable insights for the organization using AI tools.
• Master Data Management: Focusing on Customer and Material Master Data, including maintaining tools like Salesforce, aPIM, and the GDC admin tool.

As part of this team, you will interact and collaborate with members from various functions, contributing to Roche's strategic implementation. The environment is dynamic and rapidly evolving, with robust synergies with global teams and other affiliates. You will be an active member of the finance excellence chapters within the "Europe South" cluster, collaborating with representatives from Spain and Portugal.

About the Role

In your role as Project Manager & Data Analytics Specialist, you will manage projects using Agile and waterfall methodologies. You will play a crucial role in identifying synergies and fostering effective connections within the team and other functions, building a strong network throughout the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the deployment of approved projects as a project manager, monitoring progress and verifying results.
• Promoting project management methodologies (lean, agile, scrum) to facilitate strategic implementation.
• Encouraging a data-driven culture and holistic data management vision.
• Implementing data analytics initiatives to improve services, process efficiency, and financial growth.
• Strengthening local and global networks with key stakeholders to enhance team expertise in data analytics and project management.
• Exploring opportunities for AI and RPA systems to optimize processes and enhance service value.

Who You Are

To excel in this role, you need:

• A degree in economics, engineering, or similar disciplines.
• Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
• A result-oriented and problem-solving attitude.
• Experience with project management methodologies and a good grasp of Agile and lean worlds.
• A scientific approach with a curiosity for data analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Passion for innovative technologies, including AI and RPA systems.
• Knowledge of IT solutions like SAP, GDC Salesforce, and a strong inclination to work with digital tools.
• Business acumen and understanding of IVD market dynamics.
• Comprehension of business operation processes, particularly deal-to-contract, supply chain, and master data processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build networks and foster cross-functional work relations.
• Capability to simplify and optimize complex situations.
• Readiness to work in an international, global-oriented environment.
