Within Operations, Asset Wealth Management delivers exceptional asset and wealth management capabilities globally. This multi-faceted group partners with all areas of the Investment Management Division to support evolving market and business requirements. AWM Operations also offers essential risk management and control services.

Are you ready to apply your analytical skills and deepen your understanding of Private Wealth Management (PWM)? Our CIP QA Team seeks a professional dedicated to safeguarding the firm by conducting detailed client data quality reviews, collaborating with Compliance, and working alongside the Client Implementation and Maintenance Team to ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal protocols for our clients.

Our Impact

The Quality Assurance (QA) team focuses on regulatory compliance, account documentation, data integrity, and risk management. We work closely with PWM teams, PWM Compliance, PWM Legal, and other Operations groups to guarantee data accuracy and regulatory compliance. As part of this role, you will conduct comprehensive QA checks on end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for various entities across ASIA, EMEA, and the US. You will also maintain quality standards by collaborating extensively with FCC and Operations teams.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Conduct QA checks on completed KYC files for various client types (e.g., Individuals, Joint accounts, Private Investment Vehicles, Special Purpose Vehicles, Private/Mutual Funds, Trusts, Insurance Companies, Private/Public Operating Companies) per established quality frameworks.
  • Verify client data, understand KYC operations, and conduct verifications as per CIP policy, including business nature, SOW/SOF, PEP Analysis, Bearer share analysis, and World check name screenings.
  • Review ownership unwrapping (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) and related parties such as directors, authorized signatories, traders, and corporate officers per policy requirements.
  • Identify and highlight Policy & Procedural requirements if any defects are found.
  • Stay updated on Regulatory/FCC policy changes and incorporate them into the KYC review process.
  • Complete QA reviews promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate with PWM CIM Operations, Compliance, and PWM Management to resolve issues.
  • Provide expertise on policy and procedures and lead discussions on exceptional cases.
  • Assist in preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively and develop strategic automated solutions for manual processes.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Frame Procedures & Checklists for existing/new processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for the operations team, coach junior team members, and provide guidance on exceptional handling.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in KYC/AML/CDD - QA/QC/Client Onboarding/Periodic reviews in banks or KPOs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and risk-focused mindset.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the client lifecycle process and account structures.
  • Ability to independently review, analyze, and identify discrepancies in KYC/CDD files.
  • Expertise in KYC/CDD Policy, Procedure requirements, and terminologies.
