Asset Management Associate - Business Intelligence at J.P. Morgan

Position Overview: Associate, Global Business Intelligence

As an Associate in the Global Business Intelligence team, you will use data to enhance sales productivity and business development. You will collaborate closely with sales management, advisors, and the marketing team. Your goal is to shape distribution strategies through data-driven insights and embed analytical processes to improve and evolve the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the AWM distribution and marketing landscape, identifying trends to drive business outcomes and support sales, marketing, and investment processes.
  • Support initiatives to deliver business intelligence strategies across Sales and Marketing groups, translating key business questions into structured analysis and actionable insights.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis on key business trends, presenting insights via reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to create a center of excellence around visualization strategies, implementing solutions including executive reports and data quality tools.
  • Develop a deep understanding of different data sources, improving data quality and accuracy across platforms.
  • Coordinate with Distribution teams and partners (Client Service, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Technology) to facilitate the sales process and foster a data-driven culture.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Strong understanding of Investment Management Business, including Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and Separate Accounts.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative-focused fields is preferred.
  • Strong visualization capabilities with experience using BI tools like Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Experience with enterprise scheduling/reporting tools; Business Objects is a plus.
  • Technical expertise in data mining using SQL, Python, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and generate actionable insights, working directly with product and business owners.
