Job Description: Power BI Developer

We are seeking a professional specialized in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Power BI platform, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX, and integration with other Microsoft tools.
• Data Modeling and Transformation: Skilled in data modeling techniques, data transformation, and data cleansing to ensure optimal structuring for analysis and reporting.
• Data Source Integration: Proficient in connecting Power BI to various data sources such as databases, spreadsheets, cloud services, and business applications.
• SQL Expertise: Proficient in writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate and retrieve data from databases.
• Report and Dashboard Design: Design engaging and interactive reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights into data trends and performance metrics.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure fast loading times and a smooth user experience, even with large datasets.
• Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data visualizations.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to data connections, report performance, and other Power BI-related problems.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and enhancements to leverage them for organizational benefit.
• Communication and Collaboration: Possess effective communication skills to collaborate with data analysts, customers, and IT professionals.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Knowledge of Pharma Supply Chain data.

Qualifications

BE, BTech, MCA, PG Diploma.
