Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Manager - Prognostics Development to work on AI/ML-based solutions for OE and Non-OE customer projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding various vehicle/engine/system configurations and formulating prognostics use cases
• Designing experiments for data collection from vehicles
• Instrumentation and vehicle measurements on internal and customer vehicles
• Identifying relevant data and preprocessing structured and unstructured data
• Analyzing large datasets to discover trends and patterns
• Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Representing data using data visualization techniques
• Creating and validating APIs

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field with the following skills:

• Good knowledge of automotive systems and components (ICE, EV, hybrids)
• Understanding of Engine management systems, calibration, and diagnostics
• In-depth knowledge of digital and analog electronics (circuits), simulation of electrical networks
• Experience in data analytics and machine learning concepts
• Proficiency in Python or R programming languages
• Familiarity with measurement tools and techniques, tools like Inca, Canalyzer, Diagra
• Strong analytical reasoning ability
• Knowledge of quality systems and tools like FMEA, 8D

Desirable Skills

• Deep learning algorithms (CNN, RNN) and Libraries (Flask, Apache Spark)
• Database knowledge (MongoDB, MySQL)
• Experience with AWS cloud for API development
• Basic knowledge of DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes containers
