Roles & Responsibilities

Execution

  • Support medium complexity clients and data sizes, with a focus on handling complex clients over time.
  • Assist Audit engagement teams in data extraction by liaising with client's IT teams and technical leads.
  • Process data from ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics) into KPMG's proprietary tools and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date project statuses.
  • Prepare high-quality documents to support engagements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of D&A tools, focusing on sub-modules such as Journal Entry Testing and Sub-ledger Analysis (O2C, P2P).
  • Support the eDSC team with work requests during audit busy seasons.
  • Contribute to resolving basic issues under the guidance of Seniors.
  • Coach junior team members on best practices and knowledge transfer for low to medium complexity engagements.
  • Assist in testing new product releases alongside the Product Integrity team.

Development

  • Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor simple programs/scripts following agreed standards.
  • Support the development of operational or engagement-team related routines in the chosen technology.
  • Participate in practice development initiatives.

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills

Proficiency in:

  • Python or Pyspark, SQL Server, Power BI, VBA, Alteryx, SSIS, SSAS, ETL tools, MS Excel, IDEA
  • Database architecture and RDBMS
  • Database administration
  • Alteryx and Power BI Desktop and Server versions
  • Audit and Accounting principles

Knowledge of Azure Cloud and Azure certification is a plus.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA/MBA(System)

Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
