Position Summary: Associate Data Engineer

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is seeking Associate Data Engineers for our location in High Point, NC. This role involves designing, building, and managing large-scale data structures and ETL workflows to support business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting needs.
• Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
• Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms into automated processes.
• Utilize Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines.
• Apply programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data systems.
• Construct data marts and models to support Data Science and other internal customers.
• Integrate data from various sources while ensuring data quality and accessibility standards.
• Analyze IT environments to identify critical capabilities and recommend solutions.
• Experiment with and advise on new tools to achieve optimal model/use case requirements.

Requirements:

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and one (1) year of relevant experience. Must have one (1) year of experience in:

• Software development lifecycle
• Analyzing large data sets from multiple sources
• SQL programming
• PowerBI and Tableau visualization tools
• Designing data models and analytics solutions
• PI Visualization Suite including DataLink, DataArchive, Connectors, ProcessBook, Web API, and Asset Framework (AF)

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $95,576/year to $126,000/year. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
