The GBS Data Office (GDO) supports Commercial and Enabling Units business areas. The Data Governance Administrator role focuses on ensuring data is acquired, documented, and accessed in compliance with company policies, standards, and contractual obligations.
Support internal and external data sharing requests,
Facilitate data sharing agreements with partners,
Handle Third Party Agreement (TPA) processes,
Document SOPs and monitor expiration dates.
Document data acquisition arguments,
Facilitate the internal request approval process,
Support data requestors and organize collaborator meetings,
Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement and IT.
Create and maintain data catalogues,
Collaborate with vendors to compile metadata,
Assist internal users with data catalogue navigation.
Manage data access requests per company policy,
Ensure all request information is documented,
Submit request information to vendors,
Update collaborators on request progress.
Ensure collaborators are aware of change requests,
Facilitate issue resolution meetings,
Document changes and approvals.
Educate processes related to data acquisition and sharing,
Provide first-line support for collaborators,
Deliver process-related training and guidance.
Experience in data governance or data management,
Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR),
Exceptional customer support and administrative skills,
Proficiency in Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint),
Attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of user access and security principles,
Experience in a global organization,
Understanding of ethical and regulatory data use,
Experience in providing training and first-line support,
Proficiency in data governance tools,
Stakeholder management skills.
