About the Role

Job Summary

As a Data Reporting and Analytics Associate, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, steering strategic initiatives and informed decision-making across Alexion. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining data reporting solutions and analytics platforms to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, experience with database management systems, and excellent communication capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and supporting models for various business units and indications.
• Understand business objectives, data sources, and KPIs to design effective solutions.
• Execute data models in QlikSense, including ETL processes.
• Convert raw data into actionable insights using SQL and creating QVDs.
• Integrate data from various sources for accuracy and optimal performance.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik Sense.
• Optimize Qlik applications for performance and responsiveness.
• Conduct thorough testing of Qlik applications to affirm data accuracy and usability.
• Collaborate with QA testers and business users to resolve issues promptly.
• Design user-friendly interfaces that facilitate data analysis and insight generation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align Qlik development with organizational goals.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and deployment of new capabilities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and Veeva CRM.
• Proficiency in creating and adjusting data rules.
• Expertise in Qlik scripting language and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with data warehousing, data architecture, data visualization, and security (section access).
• Experience with N-printing for report deliveries.
• Previous project experience with Qlik and other BI tools.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Background in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
• 5-6 years of experience in developing reporting and visualization applications.
• Experience in web development (JavaScript and CSS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
