Key Responsibilities
As the Associate Director of Business Intelligence, you will:
- Guide our business intelligence team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data from diverse sources.
- Develop and enforce protocols for data gathering, storage, and analysis to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with various teams to pinpoint critical business queries and craft analytical solutions.
- Create and sustain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize essential metrics and trends for decision-makers.
- Deliver strategic advice based on data-driven insights to support business goals and stimulate growth.
- Supervise the innovation and implementation of BI tools and technologies, aligning with the company’s objectives.
- Assess the effectiveness of BI initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Stay abreast of latest trends in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Facilitate high-level meetings with C-Suite stakeholders, presenting dashboards and insights.
- Support stakeholder relationships across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
- Guarantee the security, reliability, and accessibility of our BI solutions.
- Conduct data quality checks and validation to maintain supreme data integrity.
- Analyze data to provide actionable recommendations for critical business decisions.
- Communicate intricate data findings to a broad audience in a comprehensible manner.
- Lead and develop a team of BI analysts, focusing on performance and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or related fields. A Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in business intelligence or data analytics, especially supporting sales organizations.
- Expertise in analytical and data visualization tools like SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong project management skills.
- Experience in a dynamic, cross-functional team setting.
Compensation and Benefits
For this full-time position, the target salary range in locations including CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA is $147,200-$208,350. Wolters Kluwer offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
