About the Role: Associate Director, Data Strategy & Insights

The Data Strategy & Insights team is a crucial bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that our solutions today and in the future enhance patient experiences and improve efficiency.

As the Associate Director, Data Strategy & Insights, you'll generate insights into OPH programs through proficient data analysis, requirement translation, critical thinking, and collaboration. You will act as a consultative partner, working closely with key stakeholders from both business and technical teams to inform and implement data-driven business decisions. While your primary focus will be on Patient Support CNS programs, there is a potential to expand your scope to additional departments based on bandwidth and interest.

Key Responsibilities

Business Management and Critical Thinking

  • Translate data and insights, understanding the "why" behind the data, into relevant business contexts.
  • Deliver strategic plans and key metric presentations to leadership.
  • Guide, plan, and prioritize activities and resources to maximize impact and measure progress.

Critical Thinking

  • Analyze situations by breaking them into smaller components to find solutions and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with data sources to resolve data problems and communicate analysis results.
  • Work with partners to address dependencies and data issues.

Analytics Solutions

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions like dashboards.
  • Manage user feedback and prioritize features for future releases.
  • Determine appropriate metrics to measure success and performance.
  • Lead onboarding of analytics solutions with training, documentation, and communications.

Data and Analytics

  • Ensure data quality and appropriate data management capabilities.
  • Support regular delivery of insights and reporting through tailored products and services.
  • Understand requirements and priorities to support OPH Total Product Lifecycle.

Partner Development

  • Develop partnerships with patient support, data/tech teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Share best practices to improve processes and decision support.

Additional Critical Skills

  • Experience with patient support data and data aggregation processes.
  • Knowledge of compliance and data privacy regulations, including HIPAA, CCPA, and GDPR.
  • Collaborate with legal, IT, and data governance teams to ensure program approval.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical data processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both individual and team environments.

Preferred

  • Experience with patient support and specialty pharmacy operations and data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.
