The Role

As the Associate General Counsel for AI Research at OpenAI, you will play a key role by providing legal guidance to our research teams. You'll collaborate closely with top-tier researchers and engineers, advising on projects that push the boundaries of what AI can achieve, including well-known innovations like ChatGPT and GPT-4, and upcoming research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the principal legal advisor for OpenAI's research division.
• Work intimately with research and engineering teams to preempt and tackle legal challenges in AI development.
• Become an authority on AI legal issues and effectively contribute to AI legal and policy debates.
