Job Title: Associate or Senior Editor (Structural Biology, Experimental and/or Computational Biophysics)

Location: London or New York (Hybrid Working)

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage research papers, overseeing the editorial process inclusive of manuscript selection and peer review.
• Make editorial decisions backed by expert assessments.
• Collaborate with other Nature family journals and leading experts globally.
• Engage with the international scientific community through conferences and institutional visits.
• Commission and edit reviews, and craft editorials.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• A PhD (or equivalent) in Protein Sciences or a related field of Structural Biology and Biophysics.
• A robust understanding of current trends and developments within these fields.
• Outstanding communication skills with fluency in English.
• A genuine enthusiasm for scientific advancement.
• Willingness to travel globally and engage with the scientific community.
• Editorial experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
