Position Summary: Senior Clinical Data Scientist (Remote)

We're seeking a highly experienced Associate Principal Clinical Data Scientist to lead in data science and statistical programming, focusing on clinical studies that drive regulatory approvals globally, including FDA PMA, 510(k) approvals, and EU standards. Our collaborative environment will have you working closely with teams across Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Clinical Affairs, and Clinical Data Management.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will be instrumental in:

  • Driving innovation, setting strategic directions, and leading the roadmap for Clinical Data Science.
  • Serving as the key leader for cross-functional team communications and strategy implementations in Clinical Data projects.
  • Establishing programming standards, developing innovative tools and applications, and leading the development and execution of programming activities.
  • Ensuring the quality and timeliness of project deliverables and maintaining compliance with Good Clinical Practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Mentoring junior staff and enhancing the internal capabilities of the Clinical Data Science team.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Expertise in SAS/R programming, with a preference for candidates also proficient in Python.
  • Proven leadership in a regulated environment and experience in automation for process efficiencies.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial data, clinical data standards like CDISC SDTM/ADaM, and ideally genomics data.
  • Strong organizational, collaborative, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

For this full-time remote position based in the United States, the salary range is $167,200 - $250,800. Compensation is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, and location.
