As a Senior Associate in the role of Software Engineer - Business Intelligence Analyst within our Corporate & Investment Bank's Digital Private Markets business, you will have the unique opportunity to drive change and foster a data-driven culture across financial landscapes.

Your Role and Impact

As a critical member of our team, you will:

  • Enable self-service data visualization and reporting, ensuring access to high-quality, reliable data.
  • Generate valuable insights from Aumni’s comprehensive datasets to address and solve customer challenges.
  • Develop advanced systems to enhance understanding and management of legal documents within financial contexts.
  • Guide new users, refining and codifying requirements while enhancing user engagement with our platforms.
  • Coach peers on optimal utilization of existing data systems and content.
  • Create innovative data products, reports, and dashboards tailored to user-specific needs.
  • Address and manage data quality issues proactively.
  • Expand the capabilities of the Aumni data platform in collaboration with product and engineering teams, enriching the core offerings of our data services.
  • Enhance data accessibility by contributing to the expansion of Aumni’s data catalog and documentation processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Formal training or certifications in Data Analysis with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced in Data Modeling and Data Documentation/Cataloging.
  • Skilled in developing and managing Dashboards using tools like Metabase.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in Consulting or Venture Capital/Private Equity sectors.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, specifically with tools like Airflow or FiveTran.
  • Proficiency in Python for Scientific Computing, Data Architecture, and familiarity with Security and Compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2).
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
