At KBR, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Autonomy & Artificial Intelligence Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Senior Advisor and Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to serve as a specialized technical advisor to the government Program Manager, shaping the future of Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence (AAI) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will guide and manage extensive RDT&E investments intended to enhance AAI technology implementation in realistic operational scenarios. Responsibilities include:

  • Technical and programmatic advisement to improve software tools, architectures, and solutions in Autonomy and AI.
  • Identifying technological gaps and accelerating testing processes for AAI hardware and software.
  • Collaborating with joint mission and service partners to integrate new capabilities into an overarching AAI T&E strategy.
  • Direct management of varied projects aimed at establishing a robust AAI operational capability.

Top Skills Needed:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in managing and executing RDT&E initiatives.
  • 3+ years of leadership within the DoD, including significant network connections as a government worker or contractor.
  • Strong hands-on experience in the research and development of relevant technologies.
  • Proven capability to recruit, lead, and manage multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must possess:

  • A relevant technical degree (BA/S + 10 years; MA/S + 8 years; PhD/DS + 6 years).
  • Proficiency in developing collaborative networks across government, industry, and academia.
  • Experience in creating and implementing clear program objectives with effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Nice to have:

  • Experience with live, virtual, and constructive experimentation involving AI-enabled systems.
  • Current Secret clearance or higher.
