AWS Cloud Delivery Lead - Assistant Vice President

State Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers, and asset intelligence companies in the world. We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Engineer to join our team as an AWS Cloud Delivery Lead at the Assistant Vice President level.

Job Description

As an AWS Engineer, you will:

• Design and build Master Data Management (MDM) applications in the AWS environment.
• Create tools to automate deployment, monitoring, alerting, and operations of the overall platform.
• Establish best practices for DevOps and mentor the team to follow these practices.
• Collaborate with various internal teams in building/migrating the MDM application.
• Prepare the migration plan for Data and Applications from on-premises to the AWS cloud environment.
• Analyze AWS resource usage to optimize performance versus cost.
• Design integration mechanisms with other applications (both cloud and non-cloud).
• Lead and mentor a team of agile developers.
• Report the progress of various work items to the product owner and other stakeholders on an as-needed basis.

Core/Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 12+ years experience in Information Technology.
• Deep understanding of the AWS Platform and AWS toolset.
• Hands-on experience in application migration from on-premises to the cloud.
• Experience in identifying AWS tools/services based on application process and integration needs.
• Hands-on working experience with AWS RDS.
• Experience with Data Engineering and the accompanying DevOps & DataOps workflows.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and integrating AWS with GitHub.
• Experience in developing and optimizing complex SQL processes.
• Experience in configuring load balancers, Firewalls, DNS, both on-premises and in AWS Cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies based on project needs.

Good-To-Have Skills

• AWS Certification.
• Knowledge of Informatica MDM and Master Data Management.
• Experience in installing and configuring AWS RDS and JBoss.
