Join Our Security Software Engineering Team
Our team builds and operates secure, scalable, cloud-native, fault-tolerant systems to identify, classify, and scan for cloud misconfigurations across Salesforce’s extensive infrastructure. Your Impact

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, resilient, scalable distributed systems to monitor cloud misconfigurations across Salesforce’s public cloud resources.
- Build observability and remediation services to help Salesforce’s engineers, leaders, and internal customers assess and address security risks.
- Work in a fast-paced, agile development environment, including daily scrums.
- Deliver new features to meet increasing product demands.
- Participate in architectural, code, and operational reviews to support the team’s engineering excellence.
- Work cross-functionally with product management and other partner teams on large-scale projects impacting the company.
- Adapt quickly to changing requirements, priorities, and strategies.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of industry experience with a M.Sc/B.E degree.
- 4+ years of deep understanding of object-oriented programming languages (Java, Go, Python) — Python & GoLang preferred.
- Experience building high-performance, highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems using native public cloud stacks.
- Expertise in building ETL pipelines with frameworks like Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Spark.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL Databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies, with a focus on code quality and secure code delivery.
- Self-starter, independent, and driven with the EQ to thrive in a collaborative, outcome-focused environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI/ML.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure services.
- Knowledge of security fundamentals, including authentication/authorization frameworks (SSO, SAML, OAuth), secure transport (TLS), and identity management (certificates, PKI).
- Expertise in observability frameworks like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
