About the Product Group

The CrowdStrike Malware Research Center (MRC) is the core of Falcon’s malware detection and response capabilities. The team focuses on understanding the threat landscape and sets the targets for what Falcon should identify and prevent. The MRC is also responsible for understanding our capabilities and mapping how well our machine learning and behavioral protection features perform against current threats. Where there are gaps, the MRC acts to improve our detection stance and overall protection story.
