About this role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analytics Lead to join our growing analytics team. This person will be responsible for developing key reports and insights to support business decision-making processes and help put forward strategies that position Corporate Marketing as an indispensable force driving Gartner’s revenue growth.
What you will do
- Consult with marketing stakeholders to formulate and articulate business questions concerning their objectives, gather and check relevant data, analyze trends and patterns, and construct storylines that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Develop metrics, support reporting automation, and ensure visualization across all areas of Corporate Marketing.
- Perform ad-hoc diagnostic analyses to identify operational challenges and encourage best practices throughout the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in marketing and IT.
- Provide consistent, timely, and recurring reports and analyses.
What you'll need:
- A degree from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales/marketing data analytics.
- Demonstrable experience with SQL databases.
- A proven history of deriving business insights from large, disparate data sets.
- Experience in applying various analytic techniques.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Understanding of Machine Learning concepts is a plus.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a focus on results and timelines.
- Experience of working with and supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
