About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BI Analyst to enhance our finance team. This role involves building essential dashboards for our monthly and quarterly reporting cycles and establishing the base formats for all operating reviews. As a BI Analyst at Nielsen, you'll play a pivotal role in the standardized delivery of dashboards to teams worldwide, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, adept multitasking abilities, and deliver timely, accurate reports. You should excel in predictive analytics and be proactive with a solution-oriented mindset to strengthen business operations and capitalize on opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (BI Reporting or Planning), including a deep technical understanding and application knowledge.
  • Support the development and governance of SAC to enhance future reporting and analytics operations.
  • Provide training and support for Business Intelligence Reporting and Visualization solutions to both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in SAP modules like OTC, RAR, BRIM is advantageous.
  • Perform data validation and ensure data quality.
  • Drive crucial financial reporting and analytics, including planning, forecasting, and managing budgetary processes.
  • Generate and maintain standard reports, ensuring their accuracy and availability across all business units within stipulated timelines.
  • Collaborate with business teams to deliver analytics through dashboards, providing data and insights that inform key business decisions and support negotiations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, or Modeling.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in Finance, specifically in FP&A, modeling, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Google Data Studio, and spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Strong financial knowledge, analytical skills, and an understanding of the media ecosystem, including Nielsen's products and services.
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.
  • Ability to organize tasks effectively, deliver results timely, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills.
