Job Description: Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Under the guidance of the Director of Analytics, the BI Analyst plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust BI solutions. This position offers the chance to deeply influence operational decisions by leveraging data-driven insights using sophisticated BI tools and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis Mastery: Deliver actionable insights through BI reports and dashboards, conduct complex data analyses, and develop predictive models to maximize business optimization.
  • Robust BI Development: Build scalable BI solutions employing tools like Power BI and Looker, and ensure integrity and efficiency in data flow through precise ETL processes and data models.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity with stringent checks and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accuracy in reporting and analytics.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a crucial advisor, translating intricate data into straightforward, actionable strategies for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of direct experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline are beneficial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel, alongside deep experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Strong foundation in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with bilingual proficiency in English and French considered a strong plus.
