The Role: BI Data Engineer
We are in search of a talented BI Data Engineer to join our multi-disciplined team. You will collaborate with Developers, Data Scientists, and DBAs to develop and implement comprehensive solutions across our business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of data engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Spark, ideally using Databricks.
- Strong understanding of cluster configurations, Spark UI, and spark performance optimization.
- Extensive experience with Databricks in multi-cloud environments, especially across Azure and AWS.
- Solid understanding of modern data architectures (e.g., data warehouse, data lake, data lake-house).
- Experience with Data Warehouse modeling and Relational modeling.
- Experience with every step of the data engineering lifecycle (ingestion, storage, transformation, serving) using a modern data stack.
- Experience in serving data for front-end BI applications, data scientists, and software engineers.
- ETL programming skills and experience with large code bases, complex data structures, and various BI development tools.
- Experience with Azure cloud solutions. Experience with GCP & AWS is a plus.
