About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to enhance operational insights. Here’s how you will contribute:

• Adhering to BI development and deployment standards, procedures, and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Identifying new development opportunities across various platforms and datasets.
• Gathering specific requirements and documentation from sites or internal departments for projects.
• Providing administrative support for Power BI, including security management, software updates, and best practices implementation.
• Collaborating with BI Data teams to prepare data models, ensuring the quality and accessibility of data for developers.
• Automating common data sets to enhance end-user efficiency and reduce redundant data entry.
• Designing and configuring Power BI reports and dashboards that present data effectively and intuitively.
• Participating in and contributing to team development sessions to stay updated with best practices.
• Mentoring local teams to develop self-sufficient applications and to use Power BI effectively, aligning with regional and site goals.
• Assessing data trends to provide predictive analytics and actionable insights.

Your Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust knowledge and skills including:

• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and related fields.
• Advanced familiarity with Power BI and additional business intelligence tools, with the ability to mentor others effectively.
• Strong analytic capabilities for handling and transforming unstructured datasets.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as DAX, M, JavaScript, JSON, and others relevant to BI development.
• Experience with database management and data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working with various organizational levels.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
