Job Description

Join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team as a BI Developer for a critical 9-month fixed-term project focusing on a major migration initiative. This role involves the rebuilding of essential reports and interfaces, integrating new data, aligning business rules, and crafting robust interfaces and reports. You will be pivotal in developing ETL/ELT connections, effective BI and DW solutions, and comprehensive automated reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable objectives.
  • Design and maintain data warehousing solutions for operational and performance data.
  • Create and manage data integrations and end-to-end reporting solutions including ingestion, ETL, and PowerBI.
  • Conduct full solution testing including system, performance, and user acceptance tests.
  • Prepare for deployment and go-live activities while maintaining detailed documentation of developed solutions.
  • Manage risks and contribute to the D&A risk and issues register.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in database architecture and reporting tools, especially Power BI.
  • Strong skills in SQL scripting (T-SQL) and ETL (SSIS).
  • Proven background in BI development with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in an agile environment and resilience in dynamic settings.
  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly Life Insurance, is highly valued.
