Job Brief

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer/Analyst to create captivating visualizations across various platforms, including applications, portals, websites, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate should transform complex data into interactive dashboards and reports, delivering clear, actionable insights to support informed decision-making.

If you have a strong background in data and business analysis, coupled with proficiency in the Microsoft Power BI Stack, we would love to meet you. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, business acumen, and a problem-solving mindset are essential for this role.

Requirements/Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects using multiple tools/technologies.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer/Analyst.
• Expertise in optimizing Power BI performance and troubleshooting data integration issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Background in data model design (e.g., semantic modeling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, data modeling, Massively Parallel Processing (MPP), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework.
• Skills to analyze data, identify trends, apply advanced visualization techniques, and provide insights that drive business decisions.
• Solid understanding of DevOps, DAX, SQL queries, creating dashboards, and KPI visualizations.
• Proven ability to take initiative and innovate.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship of a VISA such as F1, OPT, and H1B status.

Responsibilities

• Report Development: Building comprehensive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to client-specific requirements.
• Data Modeling: Developing robust data models that support dynamic and scalable reporting solutions.
• Data Transformation: Connecting, importing, and transforming data for business intelligence purposes.
• Visualizations: Creating visual reports, KPI scorecards, and interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
• Accuracy and Reliability: Ensuring data accuracy and reliability in dashboards and reports.
• Collaboration: Working closely with various stakeholders to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical aspects of the business.
• Leadership: Leading and mentoring others in the design and implementation of visualizations and dashboards.
• Troubleshooting: Addressing data-related issues and maintaining the Power BI infrastructure.
• Additional Responsibilities: Collaborating with product teams, business data analysis, project management, strategy development, and administrative duties for Power Automate and SharePoint.
