Responsibilities

As a Co-op in our Integrated Systems Test Group, you will engage in a wide array of activities that change week to week and sometimes day to day, including:

• Assist with identifying, improving, and implementing business processes and procedures to meet organizational objectives.
• Develop and facilitate the implementation of data solutions across the organization.
• Identify initiatives for continuous business process improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive change.
• Work with other developers to establish standard development processes and reusable components.
• Define best practices for leveraging existing data systems, including the identification and automation of high-value reports.
• Advocate for the continual enhancement of standards and best practices in Data Solutions and Integration.
• Support the development and management of training and documentation.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

The ideal BI Developer Co-op candidate should meet the following requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing theories, techniques, and multi-dimensional design.
• Ability to understand complex technical and business concepts and adapt quickly to changes.
• Proven visual design, systematic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Basic project management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in North Reading, MA (relocation or housing assistance is not available).
• Available for a 6-month, full-time co-op.

Preferred Qualifications

It would be advantageous if you have:

• A degree or working knowledge in Statistics and Higher Math.
• Knowledge in Big Data and Data Science.
• In-depth knowledge in Power BI and similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player qualities and the ability to maintain professional decorum in a high-energy, variable new product/engineering environment.

Education

A BS in a technical field is required. Candidates on a Master’s Degree path are preferred.
