BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
- Work together with business users to comprehend their data analysis and reportage needs.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.

2. Data Modelling:
- Plan and put into practice data models to support Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Enhance data models for performance and user-friendliness.

3. Processes:
- Develop and upkeep ETL processes to draw out, change, and load data from various sources into Power BI.

4. Dashboard and Report Development:
- Develop engaging and visually pleasing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Put into operation advanced data visualizations, like charts, graphs, and maps.
- Make sure data is presented in an understandable and clear manner.

5. Data Integration:
- Merge data from a range of resources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.

6. Data Quality and Security:
- Execute data quality evaluations to guarantee accurate and reliable data.
- Uphold data security and conformity with organizational regulations.

7. Performance Optimization:
- Supervise and augment the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
- Profound knowledge of data modelling and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Microsoft Power BI certification.
- Experience with data preparation tools like Power Query.
- Programming skills in languages like DAX, M, or Python.
- Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies.
