Key Responsibilities

As a BI Developer Intern, you will:

• Adhere to BI development and deployment procedures and standards.
• Identify and develop new BI opportunities using spreadsheets, databases, and other tools.
• Collect requirements and documentation for BI projects from various departments.
• Analyze datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights through our BI software.
• Automate data processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual data entry.
• Create and manage Power BI and QlikSense apps, reports, and dashboards.
• Participate in development sessions to adopt and implement best practices in BI.
• Conduct training for team members on utilizing BI tools effectively.
• Collaborate with end users to refine BI tools and enhance user adoption.
• Comply with all relevant organizational policies in BI, IT, and Quality.
• Handle additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Special Assignments

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with:

• Databricks using Python/Spark - Experience preferred.
• Azure DevOps - No prior experience needed.
• Power BI Dataflows - Minimal experience required.

Accountability

You will be responsible for:

• Timely completion of BI projects.
• Staying within budget for project activities.
• Successful implementation and training of new BI tools.
• Maintaining GDPR compliance to protect data privacy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with various database platforms.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent BI tool experience.
