Your Role as a Mid-Level BI Developer

As a Mid-Level BI Developer, you'll transform data into actionable insights to drive business decisions. You'll utilize your skills in visualization platforms, ETL processes, SQL, and data warehouse management to create and maintain business intelligence solutions. You will also lead meetings, ensure 508 compliance, and work collaboratively with teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Visualization Platforms: Utilize Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau to create compelling BI visualizations.
• ETL: Develop and maintain ETL jobs using Microsoft SSIS and Hitachi Pentaho. Deliverables include ETL jobs.
• SQL: Write complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures, focusing on permissioning, indexing, and data relationships. Deliverables include stored procedures and data dictionaries.
• Analysis: Analyze requirements and design new database schemas. Deliverables include schemas.
• Data Warehouse Management: Create, organize, and document data relationships and views.
• Lead Meetings: Educate staff on new BI developments and features. Deliverables include meeting agendas and demos.
• 508 Compliance: Ensure visualizations meet U.S. 508 Compliance standards.
• Communication: Collaborate with teams and provide feasibility analysis.
• Troubleshooting: Use tools to debug and analyze data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, AWS QuickSight, or Tableau
• Experience with ETL solutions like Microsoft SSIS, Hitachi Pentaho, AWS Glue, or Athena
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and T-SQL stored procedures
• Ability to create data dictionaries and related documentation
• Experience in designing new database schemas
• Proven data warehouse management skills
• Familiarity with U.S. 508 Compliance standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Salary Range

$100,000 - $180,000
