Berkeley Square IT is excited to announce an opening for a skilled BI Developer to join a public sector project on an initial 6-month contract basis, classified as Outside IR35. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for both on-premise and Azure BI development, aiming to enhance corporate functions across two distinct areas.

About the Position

As a BI Developer, you will play a key role in:

• Identifying and understanding requirements from a range of complex business systems and data warehouses.
• Scripting SQL against Oracle and SQL Server databases to drive project success.
• Maintaining and expanding a selection of current Power BI reports.
• Effectively participating in projects where Power BI is a significant component.
• Developing and deploying Dataflows and Power BI reports iteratively to meet client needs.

Required Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong ability to develop clear requirements aligned with customer expectations.
• Extensive knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proven experience in developing both Paginated and Power BI reports.
• Familiarity with Azure Data solutions such as SQL Database/Managed Instance, Data Factory, Synapse, Dataflows, etc.
