BI Developer (Looker)

Acoustic is in search of a curious and proactive BI Developer who can weave narratives to facilitate revenue decision-making for our customers.

What you will do:

• Design and furnish user experiences through Looker dashboards, Looks, and Explores.
• Work alongside Product Managers and Developers to shape data according to customer requirements and establish a single source of truth.
• Promote knowledge sharing by owning, documenting, and designing dashboards and reports to assist other developers and analysts in driving innovation.
• When necessary, devise processes to standardize work and facilitate implementation.
• Take part in technical knowledge-sharing events such as our quarterly hackathons.
• Promote company innovation initiatives and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing Business Intelligence Tools, preferably Looker.
• Strong SQL Skills.
• Experience with front-end solutions, working on reporting requirements and DB design in harmony with DB/Backend architects.
• Proficient in Java.
• Experience with Data Warehouse Solutions.
• Skilled in using Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with LookML and Looker visualizations.

What will make you stand out?

• Looker LookML Developer Certification.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience in managing migration projects from legacy reporting tools to Looker.
