Role Overview

As a BI Developer with BASF, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated reporting solutions. Operating in a collaborative environment, you will:

• Transform complex requirements into detailed technical blueprints.
• Enhance our data storytelling by crafting compelling visuals and dashboards using PowerBI.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for streamlined code management and CI/CD implementations.
• Ensure the utmost quality and efficiency of applications through rigorous testing and continuous refinement.
• Extract and integrate data from diverse sources, optimizing them to drive insights and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of our team, you will:

• Maintain seamless communication with stakeholders to accurately gauge and fulfill their data needs.
• Adopt and advocate for best practices in reporting and visualization, adapting quickly to evolving business requirements.
• Provide critical support and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Proactively engage with the BASF development community, sharing knowledge and fostering an innovative culture.

Candidate Profile

Prospective candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of experience working with Power BI, including profound expertise in Power Query and DAX.
• Experience in Agile development environments and familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Strong competencies in data modeling, RLS, and the creation of advanced visuals.
