BI Engineer (Power BI)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, one of the most well-known companies in the country, with a leading presence in the B2B and B2C sectors of electrical equipment, energy management solutions and others, is seeking to hire a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer at its headquarters in Athens. Workplace location: Athens, Northeastern suburbs (On-site for the first 3 months, then hybrid model of three days in-office and two days remotely on a weekly basis). You will be joining an existing team, reporting to the BI Manager, and working closely with Business and End users. Here is a rough breakdown of your day-to-day tasks: - 25% Data Visualization - 25% Data Warehouse - 25% Data Modeling - 25% Data Cleansing Main Responsibilities: - Design and develop end-to-end data integration and transformation processes using Azure Data Factory - Design and develop end-to-end processes using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps - Create and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various relational databases - Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the entire BI development lifecycle - Continuously monitor and optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, with a focus on SQL Server and Power BI - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - Expertise in Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps - Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration - Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and working with various RDBMS - Demonstrated experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI - Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes - Effective communication and presentation abilities to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Strong organizational skills Benefits: - Private medical insurance - A dynamic, prestigious, and highly distinguished working environment - Supportive management - Being part of one of the top industries in international market trends - Multiple learning (access to e-learning platforms) and career opportunities
