Job Summary

As a Big Data Engineer, you'll design and develop essential infrastructure and systems to support our data science and engineer teams. You'll work on products that leverage machine learning and handle large volumes of data with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure that enables data scientists and engineers to create cutting-edge machine learning products.
• Handle high-volume production environments with increasing size and complexity.
• Lead the design of new products and initiatives, integrating with current best practices.
• Utilize technology stacks including Spark, Delta Lake, Elasticsearch, Kafka, DynamoDB, K8s, etc.
• Collaborate within a team of highly skilled professionals who push limits and challenge the status quo.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in coding with Python or Scala.
• Proven development, maintenance, and monitoring of applications in high-availability, high-volume systems.
• Proficiency in Spark and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technologies such as Flink, MapReduce, Airflow, Kafka, DynamoDB, and SQL databases.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Comprehensive knowledge from feature conception to deployment.
• Background in algorithm design, machine learning, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or significant software engineering experience.
