Job Description

Your future work environment

Integrated within a Sopra Steria team, for one of our major banking clients, you will participate in a Big Data project, in Agile mode, and you will act as a technical reference within your team.

Your role and missions:

On this occasion, you will be expected to:

• Bring your expertise and experience to your colleagues during the design and development phases;
• Support your colleagues in improving their technical skills within the project;
• Define and implement solutions within an existing application perimeter;
• Propose continuous improvement ideas to your client and your team (procedure review, implementation of new tools in the delivery, testing, or quality measurement framework);
• Design and develop complex subjects.

Project environment:

• Project methodology: Agile mode (Scrum Framework).

Technical environment:

• Hdfs, hive, spark, oozie
• Scala, HQL, Shell
• GitLab, Nexus, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar

Operational environment:

• Feeding a DataLake up to the build of a calculation engine
• Intervention on the implementation of Basel standards related rules

Qualifications

With a Bac+5 or equivalent qualification, you have at least 5 years of experience in data, including 3 years in Big Data, especially on the technologies mentioned above.

You enjoy working in a team, taking up technical challenges, advising and adding value to a team.

You know how to be challenging and a leader towards the client and the development team regarding continuous improvement (delivery process, test automation/validation, maintenance of good practices, and runs performance).

You like to keep informed of technological novelties and you are looking for a career evolution based on project experience and acquiring new skills.
