Job Description

As a Big Data Software Developer at Segula Technologies, you will:

• Analyze customer usage requests and detailed requirements.
• Develop cutting-edge software to analyze vast datasets from connected vehicles, focusing on various metrics including usage percentiles over extensive periods and distances, event frequency, road type usage, and annual mileage.
• Test and validate the robustness and accuracy of big data analytics software.
• Provide dedicated ongoing support for all software users.
• Collaborate proactively with team members to brainstorm, design, and enhance features in big data analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over eight years of relevant experience, particularly in the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in software development for big data analytics.
• Strong proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and interpreting their implications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of statistical analysis and proficient in data visualization techniques.
• Proven ability in testing and validating big data software.
