Job Title: Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTi) - Assistant Vice President – Data Engineering & Visualization
What you'll do:
- Full-stack design, development, and operation of core data stack.
- Building data flows for data acquisition, aggregation, and modeling.
- Consolidating/joining datasets to create consumable, consistent and holistic information.
- Designing and implementing machine learning models and prediction APIs.
- Empowering data scientists and data analysts by building core systems and reusable library code.
- Using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Supporting and optimizing desktop and cloud environments for data scientists and data analysts.
- Ensuring the efficiency, quality and resilience of core data science systems.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Professional Studies, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or related occupations.
- Proficiency in cloud techniques like AWS, Azure, and Airflow.
- Previous experience analyzing complex data sets.
- Familiarity with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python).
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $125,000 - $185,000. Actual salary will depend on individual skills, qualifications, experience and job location. Other benefits and forms of compensation may also be offered.
