Position: Business Analyst - Enterprise Data Governance

Job Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our EDG Staff Program Manager by:

  • Performing various tasks and managing diverse assignments within the Enterprise Data Management and Governance space
  • Supporting data stewardship, governance capabilities, data strategy, and risk management
  • Ensuring compliance with global regulatory laws such as CCPA, Nevada Privacy Act, GDPR, CCAR, DOT, NHTSA, etc.
  • Defining and documenting data management policies, standards, and controls
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation including roadmaps, business process flows, and management reports
  • Developing and supporting systems strategy and roadmap initiatives
  • Communicating project information effectively to senior management and project teams
  • Providing guidance and sharing expertise with project team members and business users
  • Supporting the design of innovative solutions aligning with informational architecture
  • Establishing and implementing data governance frameworks in accordance with industry best practices
  • Facilitating meetings and creating support presentations, training guides, and materials as needed
  • Setting and managing project expectations and success criteria with stakeholders
  • Completing business requirements and functional specifications
  • Participating in various testing cycles and providing support to end-users

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8-12 years’ experience in Data Governance Business Analysis
  • Experience in the automotive/transportation industry or consulting in a regulated industry
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with data management toolsets such as IBM IGC, Talend Data Catalog, Talend Data Fabric, Collibra, MS Purview, etc.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as EDM council DCAM or DAMA, Lean Six Sigma, etc.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory compliance for laws such as CCPA, Nevada Privacy Act, GDPR, CCAR, DOT, NHTSA, etc.
  • Proficiency in Google product suite and MS Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$139,000. The final offer will depend on factors such as location, job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
