Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Senior Account Manager based in Southbank. This hybrid hunter role is responsible for selling Experian's leading data management solutions to a thriving VIC portfolio. This role fits an experienced operator comfortable with selling both small and large complex deals involving our proprietary tech and expert consulting.

This fast-paced 360 sales role expects you to conduct 15 new meetings and 10 follow-up meetings per month. You will focus on Experian’s Data Quality solutions including Data Validation, Data Management, Data Enrichment, and Single Customer View Technologies. The role includes managing a portfolio of ~60 existing customers, presenting upsell opportunities, and targeting new customers.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with:

  • Delivering agreed revenue targets by working closely with clients and prospects.
  • Understanding requirements to identify how we can help achieve their commercial objectives.
  • Prospecting intelligently and managing end-to-end solution sales processes.
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert for your clients.
  • Attending SPIN and STRONGMAN sales training as well as internal Sales Training Workshops.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in initiating new business conversations and conducting high-quality first meetings.
  • More than 3 years of experience in the software sales industry.
  • Motivation, autonomy, and a desire to be part of a collaborative environment.
