Job Title: Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Specialist

Position Overview

As the Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust data infrastructure. This position empowers stakeholders to make informed business decisions by transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Development and Customization

End-to-end development of new Qlik Sense applications and the customization of existing ones.

Data Extraction and Transformation

Extract, transform, and analyze data from diverse sources to design data models, reports, and dashboards.

Collaboration With Stakeholders

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their data requirements, translating these into technical specifications for implementation.

Data Integration & Quality Assurance

Utilize SQL queries to retrieve data, integrate data from multiple sources, and ensure its quality, consistency, and accuracy through thorough checks.

ETL Processes

Collect, transform, and load data into the BI system, preparing and structuring it for analysis.

Data Modeling and Visualization

Design data models to represent the structure and relationships within the data and create visualizations, reports, and interactive dashboards for business users.

Data Analytics

Use relevant programming languages to clean, transform, and model data, supporting decision-making processes.

Experience & Competencies

Ideal Experience and Skillset

  • Strong academic record in a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficient English knowledge, both written and spoken.
  • Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Qlik Sense or Power BI.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL & ETL, with programming skills in Python and/or R.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to form trust-based relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Capability to work independently and within a globally dispersed team.
  • Competency in making high-level presentations for senior executives.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Qlik technologies including Qlik Sense.
  • Familiarity with digital and marketing tools like Veeva CRM, Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
