About the Role: Business Intelligence Analyst

Your primary task will be managing the data for Sony Switzerland & Austria, focusing on automating and enhancing our reporting capabilities. You'll leverage tools like Power BI and Power Automate to streamline data collection and retrieval, providing invaluable insights for our Sales and Marketing teams. Your expertise will also support our dynamic Retail Activation team, emphasizing the need for speed and adaptability in our fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Transition our reporting from Excel to Power BI for our Swiss and Austrian markets, including data structuring, automation, and visualization.
• Design and implement reporting improvements and automation, responding to the needs of Sales, Marketing, and Retail Activation departments.
• Lead our monthly business planning cycle, ensuring both timeliness and quality from the Sales and Marketing teams.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based models for business planning and pricing.
• Provide hands-on support to colleagues to maximize the utility of available tools and reports.
• Quickly respond to ad-hoc data requests by understanding the business context and providing robust data solutions.
• Manage our operational processes on SharePoint daily.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, ideally with a keen interest in consumer electronics. A strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Excel, is required, along with familiarity with Power BI data models, Power Query, and DAX.

Job Requirements

• Strong skills in visual reporting and data integration.
• Adept at managing multiple tasks, from detailed data management to project-based improvements.
• Fluency in German (at least B2 level) and professional proficiency in English.

Location

This position is based in our Zurich office, with occasional travel to Vienna as needed.
