Job Description

Are you skilled in sourcing energy for fossil-free electricity? Interested in providing customers with affordable, clean energy, while navigating market needs and risks? Join our Commodities Intelligence department as a Business Intelligence Analyst and advance your career in an impactful role. This key position is stationed within a vibrant team responsible for Financial Risk Management, Power Pricing, and the progression of our BI-tools catered to our Sales segments.

Collaborating extensively across functional teams in the Nordic countries, including Sweden and Finland, you will work alongside Portfolio Managers, Business Control, Vattenfall IT, and many other professionals. Your core duties will involve the development and management of the team’s data tables and BI tools critical to our financial risk management, business analyses, and reporting processes. A primary focus of this role includes enhancing and ensuring the quality of our Power BI tools and maintaining excellence in our business analyses.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A university degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming, preferably Azure / Databricks.
  • Expertise in data modeling and data management.
  • Fluency in English; both written and spoken.

Additional qualifications that will set you apart include:

  • Experience in the electricity market or in Sales and Marketing roles.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and additional programming languages like Python.
  • API management and knowledge of financial derivatives.
  • Good command of Swedish, both written and spoken.
