Job Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Analyst Internship offers an opportunity to engage in assignments that require basic analysis and problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on fulfilling IQVIA's commitments to clients. You will contribute to meeting client satisfaction objectives by:

• Assisting with the review and analysis of client requirements and problems
• Developing detailed documentation and specifications
• Performing basic quantitative or qualitative analyses to identify issues and develop solutions
• Assisting Analysts and Consultants in designing and structuring presentations
• Developing a basic knowledge of services, consulting methodologies, and the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry
• Starting to develop an awareness of IQVIA technology solutions
• Engaging in responsibilities assigned and closely managed by Consultants, Engagement Managers, or Principals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• 1-3 years of related experience (Required)
• Ability to work willingly and effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals
• Understanding of fundamental business processes, their interaction, and impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth, and decline
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques related to your functional area
• Awareness of current events and developments within the industry and major competitors
• Market knowledge
• Familiarity with professional/trade associations, key people, and companies
• Effective time management skills

Technical Skills and Knowledge

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI) technologies. Preferred technologies include:

• RDBMS: Microsoft SQL, Oracle
• ETL: Microsoft SSIS, Informatica, Talend
• Data Modeling: Microsoft SSAS or other OLAP tools
• BI: Tableau, QlikView, Power BI
• Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
• Fluency in English
