Position Summary: Monster Energy is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex data sets into insightful and easy-to-understand visualizations that enhance our understanding and execution across sales and sales support. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining impactful Power BI dashboards and reports, fostering a deeper understanding of our data-driven business processes.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and optimize data visualizations in Power BI for regular reporting across various metrics such as Shipments, Depletions, Distribution, and more.
• Work with extensive datasets including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Google Analytics, and SAP to enhance our analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Gain expertise in different reporting systems such as VIP, iDig, and SRS.
• Drive the shift towards insights-driven decision making and process innovation among business stakeholders.
• Become a go-to expert on sales data analytics tools including R and Python, uncovering hidden insights that can transform our business strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to manage metadata ensuring proper user access, hierarchy, and security.
• Conduct data cleansing to improve the quality and accuracy of our data inputs.
• Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets, presenting these findings to senior management and the sales team across North America.
• Create and manage comprehensive documentation related to report development and subsequent enhancements.
• Identify and implement new process improvements to boost our business efficiency.
• Deliver specialized training on systems and software used within our teams.
• Handle additional duties and projects as needed to support our business objectives.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a related field.
• Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Computer Science is preferred.
• Proven ability to present and communicate data-driven insights to a diverse audience.
• Experience in crafting business requirements collaboratively across various team functions.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service, with a strong grasp of best practices in these tools.
• Deep understanding of DAX & M, managing SQL Server table relationships, and crafting advanced custom queries.
• A solid foundation in data modeling, analysis, mining, and visualization techniques.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DSD business processes and the three-tier system is beneficial.

Base Pay Range: $77,400 - $91,000
