The Role

This full-time position is based in our Congo Brands HQ in Louisville, KY.

The Business Intelligence Analyst role is wide-ranging and crucial to enabling departments to make data-driven business decisions. This role will collect and examine business requirements, identify improvement areas, and devise innovative solutions. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with Data Managers and Business Analysts to generate actionable insights that will affect all aspects of the business through creating and maintaining data flows, reports, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Data Managers and Business Analysts to analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify business informing trends, patterns and insights.
  • Create and maintain various reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to clearly and effectively present data.
  • Build and maintain data models.
  • Manage data quality assurance processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of data utilized for analysis.
  • Continuously improve existing processes and reports.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices, and offer training and support to end-users in effectively using BI tools.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of related business experience
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView), SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and programming languages like Python or R
  • Advanced skills in Excel and business analysis
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Ability to think cross-functionally, join data from various sources, and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pay attention to details while working efficiently
  • Must be a self-driven, proactive individual able to manage multiple ongoing tasks and assignments.
  • Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external
  • Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Passionate about the core values of Congo Brands
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Prior exposure to high-growth or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environments
  • MSBA/MBA
