Job title: Cloud Engineer Business Intelligence Developer Opportunity: Revionics is a leader in Price Optimization software for the retail industry. Running a successful business requires visibility to key internal metrics such as cost tracking, customer usage, real-time operational status, resource management, and more. Revionics currently has an opening for a Cloud Engineering Business Intelligence Developer to develop and deliver innovative analysis and reporting solutions for mission-critical enterprise projects. Roles and Responsibilities: You will have a strong understanding of business and operational questions and needs, combined with an excellent ability to communicate with all users, to create visually captivating interactive reports and dashboards. You will design, create, and deliver Business Intelligence data models, dashboards, and processes to key stakeholders throughout the organization. You will construct ETL tools using Google services and Python. You will develop innovative approaches for strategic decision data use, working closely with stakeholders. Requirements: - Create historical and real-time dashboards that make key business metrics visible and actionable. - Identify sources of business data and shape it into suitable formats for reporting. - Integrate and conform data from various sources into a data warehouse. - Write complex SQL queries. - Develop semantic data models using BI reporting tools. - Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and users to understand critical needs and develop solutions. - Enable self-service analytics based on insightful data and advanced visualizations. - Communicate findings and training on how to interpret analytic solutions. Working Hours: Overlap with 7:30AM-11:30AM PST or 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM IST Experience: - Strong SQL query skills required; Google BigQuery experience ideal. - Basic Python programming skills required. - Data modelling using Looker LookML ideal. - Dashboard development using Looker ideal. - Ability to write GitLab CI/CD pipelines preferred. - Familiarity with Terraform for deploying infrastructure preferred. - Understanding of data architecture and data warehousing principles. - Proven experience as a BI developer, with 3-5 years in a Business Intelligence environment. - A strong belief in data integrity and reporting quality using best practices. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written, capable of collaborating with stakeholders to executive leadership.
