What Will Your Challenge Be?

As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting both the technical and application aspects of our business intelligence projects. Using advanced technologies like QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI, and SAP BO, you will handle tasks ranging from data analysis to the development of interactive reports and analytical dashboards. Your work will be crucial in analyzing data sources, implementing data design services, and developing performance analysis systems to support strategic business decisions.

Core Responsibilities

Your duties will include collecting and analyzing business requirements, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of requirements, and synthesizing complex analyses performed by other professionals like Data Scientists and Data Architects. Depending on your seniority, you may also be expected to build and maintain relationships with clients, technology vendors, and partners, guarantee the optimal processing of your analyses, and effectively communicate your findings to both colleagues and clients.

Essential Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Management Engineering, or related STEM fields.
• Proven experience with at least one technology from the Google Cloud Platform, especially Looker for Data Visualization.
• Experience in developing BI solutions, both in creating appealing interactive interfaces and designing complex data models for KPI development.
• Knowledge of major Cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS) involved in BI platform design.
• Proficiency in SQL and fluent in both Italian and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to create stored procedures and SQL functions.
• Experience with Cloud Composer in the Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with AI models like Gemini or OpenAI for data insights generation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VBA programming) and familiarity with programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, Java, C++, JavaScript/HTML, PHP.
• Certification in at least one BI product (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense, SAP Analytics Cloud).
