Job Purpose: The Business Intelligence Specialist plays a pivotal role in HEINEKEN International's D&T department. Stationed within the dynamic APAC Data & Analytics Hub, this role contributes significantly to our strategic vision of developing standardized, scalable data solutions across the region and enterprise. Key Responsibilities:

The Business Intelligence Specialist at HEINEKEN will:

• Engage stakeholders across various functions such as sales, finance, marketing, and supply chain for gathering requirements, dashboard design, and business signoffs.
• Prioritize projects and manage capacities to ensure optimal delivery.
• Analyze data, utilizing techniques like machine learning and predictive modeling, to derive actionable insights that drive critical business decisions.
• Design and maintain data models and schemas to optimize data querying and analysis.
• Create and sustain high-quality dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights to all stakeholders.
• Develop innovative business analyses to improve processes and solve complex problems.
• Use design-thinking to develop analytics solutions tailored for business needs.
• Ensure data integrity by overseeing data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
• Keep abreast of the latest in data analytics technology and share insights with the team.
• Collaborate broadly with internal teams and external partners within HEINEKEN's global and regional networks.
• Present analytical findings to all corporate levels and become a trusted advisor for business-related queries.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; relevant experience can substitute for education.
• At least 3 years of experience in a BI or analytics role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server DB, SSIS, SSAS).
• Experience with various RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle DB.
• Skilled in data transformation and ingestion with tools like SQL Server Integration Services and Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema types including Star Schema and Snowflake.
• Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Cloud services including Azure Synapse and Azure SQL DB.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with tools such as JIRA.

Desirable Skills:

• Background in machine learning or data analysis, with a preference for experience in the FMCG/Beverage industry.
